Title: Bakersfield boat shops?
Post by: beefy85 on September 07, 2014, 04:36:44 PM: Anyone recommend a shop in Bakersfield that can help out with my 77 Tahiti cruiser? I have a lot of changes to make and would like a pro for some of he work ahead!

I can't think of one single shop that's been recommended in the Bako area...
Not that there isn't, but we used to have quite a few Bakersfield peeps and I don't remember them making any recommendations off hand.

It's the polar opposite of Alaska in wheather terms lol I'm not against that! What's your recommendation??

Post by: Eco889 on September 09, 2014, 11:20:32 PM: Beefy! We've met so my opinion should be weighted more than others. For high end work you will need to go to corona or Atascadero both have very good jet specific experience. Simple as that.

But other than that. There's Tom at JPB in Atascadero. Oh and my brother met his new neighbor which has a day cruiser that his friend built for him. Forged internals and all that kind of good stuff and he too has a bad ass beefy alcohol boat that he built himself. I can see if I can get his info if you'd like.
