Title: Barn Find

So my head should be fixed this week and of course my block is still completely fubar.
I found a 460 locally that was in his grandpa's barn.

He drained the oil, pulled the pan and the valve covers and said everything looked surprisingly good.  Rotated the engine as well.  Two bolt main.  It is intake all the way down the the pan.

I am no expert, but would this be usable for a jet boat application?  Teach me please!  I am sure it isnt that easy to Frankenstein a motor back together.  I am also sure since it has been sitting that might be a problem.  But he was asking a dirt cheap price and it is right in town so it was worth the shot.

Mighta been a lincoln motor which had a plastic timing gear set up... Still gonna throw money at it for a decent build.  You would be better off knowing it was originally built for a truck for good stock parts.

C is a good platform to start with..same block as my 502
