My setup before didn't run a water dump,now I'm running OT headers i need a water dump,should i run a valve to control the water out? I'm running a tee valve into the headers so that controls the water in,the only reason i see the need for the valve is to make the tee valve come in early or later a little help if I'm wrong.

The only reason to run a valve on the dump as far as I can see is if you don't have enough water pressure to open the Bassett valve, which I have never seen before but from what I hear is possible.

As long as the dump hose and fittings are not too large I don't think you will have any issues with just having a flow control valve on the jet pump outlet to control the volume.

My BBC uses two outlets on the t-stat housing (no-stat), one goes to the header valve, the other to the dump, I think AN-8.
