Title: Bassett injection lines

Is there a way to fix em when they get a hole in the line ???  These are in great shape but i just found 2 holes in one of my injection line.

Looks as though they met up with a battery or somethin arc'ed (sp)

Im not buying new one's at $196 a pair :screwy:  These are on my set of BBC twisty's

I know im not the only one that has ran into this problem , how did you fix em? i think welding is a bit extreme they would probably melt

Are they the stainless tube ones? They can definately be repaired, I would just pick up a couple of stainless steel Swaglock couplings and cut them where the bad spot is and couple them back together, they could be welded, but couplings would be cheap and effective (could also just use a brass compression coupling, but kinda hack)...

Ok i can see using a comp fitting on this one.

Steve, if'n it were me I would silver solder those badboys, that is a tiny hole and could be soldered and would last longer than me...

Im sure it is for a experienced welder, but im in bullhead and the welder here are scary :screwy:

Damn. I need to move. That right there is at most a 25.00 weld. Here is some stainless brackets I did for a machinist that was a job for the DOD. This was welded for him as a side job. I work for a Bank in the Corp. world and this is just for fun. ;D

And I thought when I paid $250 last month, it was a deal...LOL

Its not a big hole, and I'm sure that JB weld would work fine. My old lines had a few weld spots, and looked like crap.
