Well this is a long shot but I am looking to start a motor build and I need to start somewhere. I'm looking for a 454 block 4 bolt main in th let soCal area. If anyone has a block that is in their way and looking to get rid of for cheap or free please let me know. I'll also be looking on Craigslist for the same. Thanks.

It is my opinion that a main studded, align honed two bolt block is just a strong as a four bolt when a girdle is added.
It may open up your prospects a little.

I know of a tall deck block and rods in Westminster. I just bought the crank if you're interested in it I'll check for you.
