I have a beede tach with 4 settings on the back. 1 2 3 4. What number should it be on.

I'm pretty sure its # 2. I just did a set of hardin's and I'm pretty sure there the same as the beedes.

Seems to me I've had this before. If I remember right, they are DIP switches, and on an 8 cylinder engine, leave them all closed except #2. Could be labeled on/off or open /closed..............
Hope this helps

I have all Beede guages in the Nordic, The tach actually has a dial with a slot for a flathead, and is numbered 1 2 3 4

Thanks guy's for the help. It's set up just like how nordic said. You use a little flathead srewdriver to change each setting. It has 1 2 3 4. Right now it's on the one and the three. Well #1. I'll try #2 see what happens. If not I'll try each setting out. Thanks again for the input guy's
