I have a 21' Tahiti Boss, 460 motor that is only turning 4200 rpm at 43 mph. Can someone tell me what the different model pumps mean and mine? Please!!!

Sounds like you are a lil down on hp.
Typically, a (stock) 460 with an 'A' impeller should turn 45 to 4600 rpm
The speed is about right for 4200 rpm, in a big cruiser.
JC is a good pump, just not a split bowl.

Does that mean I have a split bowl, sorry not sure what youmean

JG is a split bowl
JA, JB, JE, JI, And a JR...All split bowls
JC and JF are one piece bowls.

Don't know anyone that has a NEW JE, but in the past it was aluminum impeller and one piece bowl.
