I think the electric motor on my trim adjust is burned out. These motors are no longer available. Does anybody know of a suitable replacement? Or maybe have a working one they want to sell?

It's a power window motor in many cases. Have a picture?

I can get a picture of it whan I get home. I beleive it is one of the late 70's or early 80's power window motors. Just want to find something similar so I dont have to screw around with modifications. Ill see if I can find a part number on it.

Delco window motor. I believe passenger side. I have a part number of it in the books in my toolbox.

I was thinking about going that route but I want to see if I can fix it first since it is already wired with a switch in the dash. I appreciate the offer and will let you know if it doesnt work out.

I've heard a '70's Suburban rear window motor. '70's Cadillac looks like it.

This is the one we have been using.

The original part number was a 1687348 AC Delco, been discontinued since the late 90's
This one is sort of a universal replacement, for $30 you really can't miss.
I'll have to uncover the Sanger to see if that is the exact one we used, I'm 99% sure that it is. Needed to make a couple spacers out if 1/4" copper tubing and I used done Scotch Cast to make a plug.

Lol. I don't blame you. I figured you guys should be driving your boats up and down the streets by now with all that rain. Thanks for checking that out for me.
