Carb Rebuild/Tune Help

Hey everyone I just picked up a holley 750cfm double pumper *at least I think it is* because the choke horn is milled off so I have no list number on it, is there any other way to tell the type of carb?

I am also looking for someone who is pretty knowledgeable in carb rebuild and tuning who can show me some of the in's and out's of the carb, I'll supply beer and parts!!

I know the basics but I always want to learn more! Help!

It's definitely a double pumper lol. I have a 750 dp on my 355 and the numbers were stamped on the bottom as they also milled the horn off. I've rebuilt mine once and it's pretty straight forward. Not to hard. Just make sure you take your time and clean everything ! Lol good luck

its got a big block, berkeley jet and just removed the seat belts to make it go faster

Yeah I've rebuilt my 750cfm Vac Secondaries but I want to learn more about the proper jetting, power valve, accelerator pump size and just over all tuning for my motor/application

Chris,
Grab a holley performance book at your local bookstore. Lots of very useful info in those books, and many useful tables/charts for you to reference while you are in there as well as later for any changes modifications.
Like I told you when we talked, you can get a carb pretty close on the bench, but to be 100% tuned to YOUR exact
Engine will take some tuning time while the engine is under load, timing settings,vacuum specs, ignition setup and so forth.

Jegs sells a carb main body that will give u 25 to 50 more HP part#778-67100c for 127.99$ u don't half to rebuild yours alls u half to do is use your bowls and metering plates. They even give u new gaskets.

Look on the top of the metering blocks the carb numbers are stamped on there just like the choke housing,  tricky part is are they the original metering blocks?
