Title: Blow by
Post by: B510 on September 07, 2015, 08:44:08 PM: Over the weekend my boat started to fall on its face and was way under powered also was cutting out. Checked all the plugs only one looked like this. Any ideas on what it is ? Blow by ? There is some water under the valve covers. Don't know much about the motor just bought it a few months back. New to the jet boat world.

For the most part. Unless they are integral.

The piston really doesn't look too bad, with the worst being at 12-o'clock. You could probably run it as is, but if you were worried about a ring being pinched, I bet somebody has one of those pistons sitting around.
