Title: Blues headers??

What causes it?? Mine got pretty tore up last season and is there any way to get them looking good again?? Thanks.

Think its just from the heat man. Were yours water injected or dry? I dont remember

They're injected. But they are real leaky and I think my my engine was running way hot. Hence the piston breaking...

Heat. Nothing you can do but possibly re chrome or buy new.

Running them lean and/or with late ignition timing accentuates the blue/discoloration.

Windex before you run it, water, fat mixture... Help but won't prevent it.

Harley guys use Blue Magic to clean them up.

Yea that could've been my problem. One them of them got clogged and looked like hell after about ten minutes.
