Where do I hook the purple wire off the alternator to the wiring harness that so that it charges my battery and when I turn the key off the boat doesn't keep running help please..

What alternator?

If it back feeds, just use one of those diodes msd includes with their boxes.

But I've seen quite a few where they just wired the stimulator wire right to constant power... And low and behold, it stays on with the key off.
