VW Heads

Got a question on VW heads. I am helping out my father in law with a sandrail he has. There are three set of dual port heads sitting around. One set has the number 71, one set says 82 and the third set 93. What are the differences in these heads. they will be going in a 1776 cc motor. Any help would be appreciated.

where are they marked?should be the mm head size.

The numbers are under the valve springs. I dont believe it is the head size because I think all the heads are stock which would make them 85.5 mm.

as i did in the past old school class five 70 s run the bigger valves so what ever ones have largest valves just my 02
