Ok here it is, i need to find out what type fittings they are and see if i can tie into them with AN fittings. this is my TBI fuel line & return. but im going to a carbed set up with a fpr.
I was going to run all new lines but if i can get it done with these, that would be killer..
So help me please ;D
what can i do with them ?

Should be M16 X1.5 And M14 X 1.5 Good luck with that...
You might be able to find them in a TBI pressure test kit...

The lines thread pitch are the same size, but the nuts are 14mm (like a spark plug) and 16mm...

Yeah i didnt think it would work, i will run new lines. Now the return line , can it just be cut and slip a hose over it since it is low pressure ?

What are you trying to do? You can't run a carb off of the 35 PSI in tank pump.....

i want to use the existing lines to make it easier and cheaper, and i can run a carb off the in tank pump.
i was just looking to see if there was a fitting that would couple my new line together

Just thinking out loud, but why not cut them off, and reflare with a normal flare fitting, or use a compression fitting to flare or pipe? Easy to get to AN from there.

That would be my next attempt, but i think i found exactly what i need from Russell performance.

actually a good idea ray...the whole deal is that you dont need the return line at all, but i dont know how to go about getting rid of it...or you can run a FPR that will return it if im not mistaken...but reflaring it and short runs of an would look good...have you looked at sweetsperformance, because i remember him making some custom stuff

I like it....
Flaring may be too hard on that old ass steel....... :thumbdown: Steel gets more rigid as it ages and is in service....
The FPR has to be a return type to keep the pump from overheating and killing itself....They are cooled by the fuel that moves through them.... ;)
I guess you don't forget this stuff after all... :thumbup:

Jegs has a adapter to convert tubing to an. you just have to cut the end off and install the adapter. my brother used them on his 69 camaro for the efi return lines. Ill post the link when his lazy ass gets to work.

Tbi should be 12 psi i cut mine and ran braided with a hose clamp and it was fine

Yeah, ive seen it done that way .
But everybody here knows i do it the hard way ;D

Lol ya why u goin to carb theres alot of sensors 4 the computer u just blockin those? What year is the block just use the old fuel pump as a pick up and sending unit and put a mechanical pump on it if its just blocked off

Only sensors im using that is comp related is the fuel/oil sensor everything else is just unplugged.
Its easier to just use the existing fuel pump and run a reg. I put in a new pump when the truck was torn down to the frame so ;)

Steve, Why arent you going FI? You can pick up TPI units cheap as hell. You shit wood b in tune at all times and run cleaner. Remember, you prolly got a five wire oil sending unit so it wont run w/o oil pressure.

FI could be in the future as well as a blower will just need to change cam /intake no biggie
i have eveyrthing to run it now so cost is low, and its a 3 wire so im all good to go. Only reason im using the comp for the fuel/oil is if the oil drops press to low it will cut the fuel.
TPI set up's are nice :)
