Title: cam 4/7 and 2/3 firing order swap
Post by: eliminatethis on November 24, 2010, 10:14:07 AM
I am asking if anybody uses these swaps for gen 6 454 to get the cast crank more durability buy giving it better harmonics?

We use them on circle track race car engines for a little flattter torque curve and it keeps the fuel mixture more even between cylinders on single 4 barrel applications. As far as harmonics go I am not sure.

thanks I thought there was a thread that talked about how bearing and crank shaft failure  was noticeably less with the swap
