Hi Everyone,
This is my first post to the forum. I have a question regarding the use of a superchiller intercooler (water to air) in a jet boat that normally runs the lower Colorado River. I am putting together a mild blown motor for 21ft placecraft and was strongly considering the use of a intercooler. I have run blown/intercooler motors on the street but nothing like this on the river before.  I am not new to high performance motors or fast boats but have no experience with Blown river boats.  My concern is plugging the intercooler up with sands a sediments that are in suspension in the waters on the lower Colorado. Does anyone have any experience or educated opinions regarding this topic.

If you were in Blythe with intercooler with no SAND Strainer (I am sure you blocked it up a little) so much sand in that water. I try to stay away with no sand strainer.

I have all the necessary components to go with the blower/intercooler. Have a dump from the intercooler  that is constantly pushing water out of the side of the boat. I'm not worried running in blythe

4 super Chiller intercore you need a sand strainer if I can be running Blythe the Teague see strainer I have one I was still getting debris I had to put screens in it
