Alright guys, looking for some input.
I currently have an Edelbrock 1412(800cfm) on my, as far as I know, virtually stock 454. Runs pretty fair, until I get around the top end. If I get into the throttle to quick, it'll cough, and at times almost seems like it's running out of fuel. If I back out and ease into the throttle its fine.
My question is this: I know majority will say Holley. I've got a line on a ProForm 800 for what seems to be a fair price.(300obo)
Holley, Demon, ProForm, QuickFuel??
Ready, GO!

Holley mechanical pump, not sure on pressure. I don't really believe it's starving thought. Doesn't always do it. Some days it will run fine, others, I feel like pulling the plug. I've gone thru the whole ignition and everything checks out good.
May hust bite the bullet and go buy a new holley or demon this week
