So took the new boat out over the weekend ran great up to about 4000 RPMs I'm thinking the carb need to be rebuilt. anyone know anyone that can rebuild it near corona for a good price?

Get the kit and do it yourself bro. 50 bucks for the kit.

I was think about doing it my self but the carb need to be cleaned up also. it looks like crap.

I've had great results by buying a bucket off chem dip from the local AutoZone. If you wanna make it faster and easier on you buy 2 buckets. Stuff ain't cheap it's 30 bucks a bucket but works wonders on carbs. Take it apart dump all the parts into the solution and let it sit for about 4hrs. All the gunk and build up inside and outside will be gone. There's a company, that seems carb paint which works really well. Any color you can think of.
Yes you'll spend about 150 bucks the first time in the Chem Dip rebuilt kit and paint but the dip and paint should be enough for 5 more rebuilts. I've had nothing but good results doing it this way. As long as you know how to rebuild a carb...

I took my carb to performance carb in ontario they are located off the 60 and grove. My carb had sat in the open weather since 09 and was completely frozen shut and they made it look like brand new. Wish I had before photos it looked really rough.

J&J carbs in Fullerton does a great job. Box it up and ship it to them and they will take care of you.
