Title: Ceramic coated OTT Headers....
Post by: TrailerHo on April 19, 2010, 04:21:27 AM
Do you have to run water thru OTT headers that are ceramic coated?  I have chrome headers now but they are turning a different colors down the pipes (closer to the motor) and it's driving me nuts!
I am trying to get a banderlog header valve right now but if I decide against it, I will pay the same amount to get the headers coated.
So... Will ceramic coated headers maintain thier finish regardless of tempurature?

They stay pretty shiny for the most part, Ive noticed a little dullness down by the cilinder head  3-4 inches up from the flange. Other than that they look brand new.
