Chevy guy's can you post up a pic on how you have your alternator mounted , if you use special mounts (custom) or just some old ugly ass brackets......I need to mount mine , but dont have a clue where to put it...

2sav, in your Bahner thread there's a pic of your front motor plate. On the left side of the plate there is a hole that I'm sure was the alternator mount/pivot. Run an adjusting bar to one of the accessory mount holes in the head. Looks like there --might-- be some clearance issues with the header water lines, though.

Here is mine. I think I got the bracket at DANA maybe. I also thought it was going to be too close to the water lines but there is plenty of room.
