Coating Headers

I am thinking about picking up some headers dry headers that need to be worked on. weld some cracks and holes, and also a coating. is there a way to coat myself? or is it better to get a pro job??

I would just have someone coat them. Embie does a great job.

My local guy told me $250 to remove chrome and jet coat them. I do not know of his quality. I thought for that price might be worth. Maybe in a month ill try him out. But i want inside the tubes as well. I am sure of anyone elses prices.

Embie is about 200 to 300 depending on what you want. They do great work. mine are there now . http://www.embeeperformance.com

Just dropped off my headers at embee today and they are going to ceramic coat them for $250. But you need to tell them that you are a performanceboats.com member. That knocks off $50 from the original $300. Also if they are chrome and the chrome is real bad they might have to chemically strip the chrome and if thats the case then it will cost an additional $150.

I will blast all chrome and ceramic coat them for 200. Look up Finneys plastics and Powdercoating.
