Its confession time, what are you running in your build? I know what people are telling me to do, but i want to know what they are really using............. Sooooooo........... let me have it...... ;D

All GM accept pistons. Forged crank, 7/16 dimple rods and forged TRW pistons. 990 heads

Same here as HD, except I melted my 990's 2 years ago. Brodix bb2plus now.

Stock Ford Crank and rods. Attached to Forged Pistons. All ballanced to w/in 1/2 gram.

Im looking to build a 400-500 hp motor, and it looks like the "I" beams and cast crank are the ticket.....
I have been talking to lots of builders, and they are saying that set up is fine but run forged pistons but then again some say Hypers are just fine :banghead:

Depending on who you talk to, pretty damn tuff.
3 seasons of racing in a A-class river racer (85-95 MPH for 40mins.)
Motor has seen 5,500 RPM loaded 6,400 RPM (tattle tale)
