Pulled my plugs. Engine has 15 hours on it. Not sure what to make of these reading cause theyre all over the place.

The first pic is of the drivers side of engine, plug are in order starting from the left is #1 cylinder and the last is #7. Second pic is of passengers side. Same order left is #2 last is #8.

* the flash caused the plug to appear a little lighter in color than they actually are.

If this motor is as new as you say it is, you either sucked an intake gasket or the rings refuse to seat....

The plugs IMHO are correct, looks like a sucked intake toward the front. Did she use some oil?

Yes she using only but I have no smoke at all. However I have bad valve cover leaks right now which I'm sure is where most of the oil is going cause I can see it pooling underneath lol.

Hmm well before I rip the intake off should I just toss some knew plugs in it and rip around for a day then check them to make sure its not just a dead plug?

You can do anything you want... But those nasty black plugs where not dead, not for quite a while anyway...

I can do an intake in 30 minutes in the dark with a slight buzz...

Hahaha... Just bustin' your balls... I would be shocked if you didn't suck an intake. It almost has the textbook look of it.

Be sure to check them over really well as you pull it apart.

You have to follow the factory torque sequence, otherwise excessive shift causes the gasket to squish out of place. I normally High Tack them to the head and Permatex number two the water ports using Ultra Black on the ends... No end gaskets.

It makes sense because the plugs toward the back are almost white and the fronts look like trash. I followed the edlelbrock torque sequence specifically for my intake. Should I not have?

You definitely should have... Many do not. Did you glue the gaskets down with something?

Also I always permatex the water ports, but I thinking of using it on the intake ports as well to help hold it in place during install...thoughts?

Too unruly and messy... I have always used Spray High tack from Permatex.

Spray the gasket, head side and set them on the head after putting on the number two on the water ports.

And no I didn't use anything to hold them down the first time. But I did use perm on the water ports though.
