if you don't mind me asking, what crank and rods are you running and how much boost are you puting to them?

I believe it's a stock crank and dimple rods. 9lbs at 6000rpms. I've never had it apart, it was originaly built twenty five years ago before they even had all these aftermarket cranks n shit. They baught the parts new from chevy, 990's etc.

I have seen GM steel cranks used in 1400hp applications! I am not saying yours will do it , but I have seen it done!

i was just thinking if it would withstand an 8-71 and injection in a v drive. i am guessing it will if i don't abuse it to much. thanks for the help......
