Title: Crappy electric fuel pump
Post by: Danger731 on June 20, 2010, 09:36:56 PM
Think I'm going mechanical.

This is what I pulled out,

http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Aeromotive-SS-Series-Red-High-Output-Billet-Fuel-Pump,9640.html.

Damn 12v lead was shorted out, not servicable on the top end, nice paper weight.

Figure I can lose the regulator as well now...

Oh and my switch for port and starbord tanks was failed open to the starbord side. So I pulled that as well. On the side in red states NOT FOR MARINE USE, nice.

Sure you pay shipping or come down n get it. I took the cap off it is not servicable. Also the screws go from the top all the way to the bilet aluminum and had to be tapped out to get the top off, then I used pliers to back them out. The shaft of the screws had rust....

The bottom end in still pristine.
