yes you can cut them, and old school method of telling how long they need to be is take a tire crayon and mark them along the colector. then run the boat where the crayon is not melted is where you make the cut.
I've heard cutting them will make less power not more. I assume you plan on running them dry.
Ok, I got it, so you take the crayon and run a long line along the collector and at the first point that the line is not melted is where it's safe to make your cut? I like the idea...seems pretty simple.yes sir...thats the part...
Dumb question time...the "collector" is the large 4"+/- tube that is that part that acutally goes out and over the transom right?
