Don't waste your money. By the time you buy the correct end plates to make it usable you'll have more money in it than you can find one already done and ready to install.
-
It's already set up for gas

If the price is right, it would be worth checking out.

That would make one seriously bitchen mailbox.....
This would be similar to the Mercruiser version of the 575 model.
It should be a low profile deal and The Blower Shop can point you in the right direction, if you want to spend some time/money on it.
Look at this http://www.theblowershop.com/product/322/250-BB-KIT-3V-MARINE/ (http://www.theblowershop.com/product/322/250-BB-KIT-3V-MARINE/)

you have a 6v53 detroit diesel blower.
it CAN be made to work.. parts are hard to find... which means you're gonna spend more money. who knows if you can even find an intake manifold that will fit it. save your money and just get a 6-71 kit and be done with it before you go down the road of frankensteining the 6v53 to work. hell you can find procharger m3 kits for like $1500 these days that will give you more than enough boost to shake your fist at and break the rest of your internal motor parts. ^-^
