Found this on another site...Thefiring order of a ford 460 engine is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8.1-2-3-4 is on thepassenger side and 5-6-7-8 is on the driver’s side. The distributorrotates counter clockwise. According to my knowledge the ford big blockseries is offering the same order regardless of year or displacement.Hope it helps.

If you start with cylinder 5 on the ford, they are the same, fords #1 is where the chuvvits #2 is, Mopar uses the same order.....
