Post by: Johnson on May 19, 2013, 02:31:22 PM
What up good people...  Looking to upgrade to an electronic distributor...  Still have the old school on my BBF 460.  Can somebody give me some advice and guidance on what might be the best application / best bang for my buck / for a Jetboat Application....  Also, is there anything else that would be wise to upgrade at the same time????  You guys ROCK!!!!! 8)

I just ordered the white performance all in one distributor off eBay, it was $40 with a life time warranty. We will see how it goes.

I had the same question and am upgrading my carb, getting rid of the points, and getting a new intake.

I'm planning to go to Ford Duraspark. Re-curved for my motor. MSD uses Duraspark internals. Paul Kane recommended.

Mallory unilite with blue marine cap. Still on original unilite(8 plus years) but keep a spare. I have a ballast and power filter ran in line.
