I have a stock marine ford 460 with about 4hours on her.    What's a decent distributor, coil and ignition setup.

What do you use the boat for?

In all honesty I like the Pertronix Flame Thrower stuff. Readily available, reasonably priced and seems to work great.

I installed one of those in a 351C that went into a Cobra replica circa 1997.  The car ran real hard.

Basically, it is just a GM HEI with a custom body and shaft to fit non-GM applications.  I would not hesitate to run one of these again.
