Mallory Unilite Dual-Points Dizzy, 460BBF, MSD Coil, Hardin-Marine engine harness, using a ballast resistor.
PDF For Diagram: http://www.hardin-marine.com/Instructions/460_Ford_Wiring_Harness.pdf
The way i've got it setup is the dual purple wires - Connector #4 - Ballast Resistor Input, plugs into he ballast resistor.
I'm assuming Connector #2 - Positive on coil, obviousley goes to the positive side on the coil..
..Now - connector #1 - wheres that go? output from ballast resistor.. does it go to the dizzy? or?
next - Am i correct - does the dizzy go to the negative side on the coil?.. what about the tach lead?

That harness diagram looks whack to me......
The purple should be the input of the resistor, the output of the resister should go to the coil + terminal and to the "I" wire of the solenoid, maybe I am reading it funky...been drinking Black Velvet and Pepsi trying to get Hamlin to win the 500... :banghead:
