How many use the stock electronic dizzy in there ride ?
I currently have a converted points to electronic dizzy with the crane module and rev limiter but im thinking about going stock just to get it running and have less wires and shiat hanging on the engine...
I do plan on an upgrade after i run the boat awhile , but my main concerne is to get it running the easiest way
So how many use the stock stuff

I've been running a stock dist. with the electronic conversion for 18 years in my Advantage.
-
The Hallett I just picked up has a stock dizzy with a pertronix electronic unit in it and it works fine.
-
Ok so far we have 2 dizzy's that arent stock..
Both have conversions,....
Im talking about a HEI ignition dizzy ???
They are really cheap ;D
-
Not stock here either. I run a MSD HEI Billet.

Hey Steve I see ya cut me off for razzin ya on your assbackwards dizzy ;D Well for my in the right place dizzy I ended up buying a marine MSD dizzy from Summit. I like it cause it was cheap, compared to buying a dizzy and a box. Was like 280 or so and is basically plug and play. Have had it for 3 years and never a prob. Just my .02, and a killer job you are doing ;D Mark

points are fine just not the most performance worthy...a conversion is one extra wire that goes to the coil....points only one wire....not much difference really little buddy...your this far along just do it how you want to NOW and not come back and fix it later...you have been patient this long just get it right...

Hey Steve I agree with Josh just get her done :sly: Check out the MSD8560 or the pertronix D200801 The first is 295.95 and the other is 228.39, and thats from summit. Dang I just gave ya part #'s for a dang Cheby ;D ;D I hope my puter dont crash on me for that ;D

I have a Pertronix conversion in an old Mallory dual point housing, working great.
Old mallory dual point, free
Pertronix conversion, $60.00
Being on the water, priceless ;D

I agree with ya Crew Summit also sells the conversion kits, would be a cheaper, and just as reliable way to go, for me was just getting a billet dizzy, no box, and plug and play, is what sold me tho. Just my .02
