I recently bought new Teleflex Lido gauges. I got the Tach and oil pressure to working, but I could not get the temp to read correctly. I checked my wiring which is all new. The Sender is a Sierra part, could that be the problem. I wonder if the alumium Intake manifold is not allowing the Sierra Sending unit to ground. Does anyone know if you have to have a Teleflex sending unit for the water temp? Thank you for your help.

I just got the same gauges. My oil pressure wasn't right so I ordered the sender from them.
It showed 80 psi shut off. I started it just to see what happened. It read the 80 psi then I let it stall with the key still on, it read 65 psi with the engine stopped.
Haven't had a chance to drop it in the water to find out about the water temp. Let us know how you make out with that part.
