Title: Driveline removal
Post by: fieldsken11 on January 03, 2018, 08:04:56 PM
Since it’s bad to run the jet out of water just how do you get the driveline out without moving motor or jet??   Or is there a driveline that has flanges to separate??

What motor mount system do you have?

The driveline should be disconnected at the PTO at the flywheel.

I hate to say it but I think it’s a 4 point mount??   New to this.  But it’s a 460 Ford. That I do know

Take your bowl and impellor off, then loosen the packing nuts, and it will be okay to run it.
