Hey guys how’s it going , for the time being I am running a set of dry headers on my boat. Until I can find a decent set of BBC wet headers over transom. The dry headers are about 6” away from the side of the boat. Will all the heat weaken the structural integrity of the fiberglass over time . Should I wrap them ? I know header wrap and water is bad overtime but I’m not worried about damaging these old beat up headers more worried about the hull. Any input is appreciated .

The maximum temperatures will occur while under way, when you have good airflow.
The heat will not weaken the structural integrity of the glass, it would discolor the surface first. It takes a lot of heat to soften the resin.
If you are concerned about the heat, and don't want to fully wrap your headers, you can cut strips of a product like the following and just insulate between the header and the fiberglass.
