Title: Duraspark wiring diagram
Post by: stc315 on July 18, 2012, 04:40:21 PM: Anyone here done a duraspark conversion for the BBF 460? I'm looking for a wiring diagram. As soon as my pistol sells, I'm going to order a Duraspark dizzy.

Post by: bluegoose95401 on July 18, 2012, 06:17:45 PM: imo would steer away from the dura spark i had one on my truck nothing but probs the dura spark 2 is more reliable from what i understand but ether way that's adding electrical parts which i try my best to stay away from better of doing an hei swap i think summit sells there in house brand hei 460 conversion dizzy for a fair price if i remember correctly

Post by: waterslinger on July 24, 2012, 11:07:29 AM: I ran one for years never had a single problem and un-like a NSD its potted (water proof) use a box with the BLUE tab on it where the wires go into the box. (78 mustang II) the white wire gets power when you are cranking and the red when you are running. Go to the bone yard for the harness from the dizzy to box. They polish well.
