An electrical gremilin? Not an electrician? I am.
I've rewired over 10 complete cars/trucks and have been professionaly electrically troubleshooting for 16 of my 20 year career. Where you at?
Sorry I didnt get back to you but I had breakfast and then a nap ensued . It was running like crap and sputtered often and on the way back everything just quit, electrical and mechanical. I had a test light handy so I took it to the junction block and Nothing had power since I would turn the key on and off and it was like I didnt have a battery hooked up . Absolutly no power .
So being the genius that I am , I took a huge flat blade screw driver to the starter at the solenoid and the motor would jump over so I figured there was at least power to there so I turned to key off and then turned it back on and it fire back up

. It had done this to me before once so this is new . The only thing I can think of is that its the starter , my old trusty delco starter has finally decide to let me down after several years of the worst abusive service . I dont know that for sure , but I can only hope since I have a marine starter on stand by and that has let me down before soooo....
