When you say "good", know that that also means financially out of reach.

Stellings are incredible.

Stainless mfg. Are a close second.

You will likely be in the Bassett category,  but Rewarders are nicer imo.

Plan on heart stopping sticker shock when you look at Stellings products.

Last time I checked, through hull headers were over $6000.

Hey Coors... I did purchase a set of TT's through Bassett for my Oldsmobile .Ceramic coated, rust was the reason I chose it over chrome. After 2/3 yrs the nooks and cranny's start to rust, ceramic helps control some of it.???. Price is complete, lines, fittings, orifice's,a "smart" T valve and concise instructions. I'm  over the OT header experience. I'm old and they are LOUD.Yeah they're pricey, but ok for me. Good luck!

Jim Brock has a very nice set for sale. They look like Imco Powerflow manifolds or Drakes. Big primaries with 4" risers.

Tall collector will need S pipes. Similar to what you would need for Lightning.

Go down the page.

Thank you. How does this style work compared to headers?

I wouldn't say that the flow is as good as headers, but they come close. The benefit of this style of manifold is that they are water jacketed, don't get nearly as hot.  These are safe for a covered engine compartment. This manifold style is rock solid, won't rust out, and is an excellent way to safely increase flow and performance. With that said, to each his own, and application. Depending on what you are running, there is a chance of reversion. Do your homework before you buy anything and ask lots of questions.

Oh they rust out from the inside out. And water pumps right in. You can run them a few ways wet with water out the tail pipe but with a big cam and the wrong tail pipes you can get reversion. Or you can run the tail pipes dry and the manifolds wet.  I wouldn't recommend buy used ones the jackets do rot and crack. Guys that run them change them like a insurance from lossing a motor. Just alittle heads up. I would stick to a over the transom  set up.

I will keep that in mind. I'm doing through because I have a kid and one on the way. Once they get older I want to go back to over the top.
