Title: Fiberglass scoop ?

I bought a fiberglass scoop and I had sum perforated medal left over from a job and was wandering if this would block off too much air and mess with my carb the holes in it are 3/4 "

My opinion and that's just my opinion leave it off. That's not gonna block any air.
