Title: Ford 429 rebuild
Post by: flames on December 07, 2013, 12:40:05 PM
I am taking my 429 ford into the machine for a rebuild. It ran but was worn out a lot of blow by. I am wanting a mild cam any other tips or suggestion that have worked well on other BBF. Also getting heads rebuilt. Thanks

Heads are crucial... What heads do you have currently ? Also forged internals are always nice but not absolutely necessary for every component. Compression, get that thing at 10:1 based on Combustion chamber/ piston combo.
