what should the fuel pressure be for daul carbs? A starting point. it a 454 with two 850's i think
-
Holley carburetors run good with between 5-7psi pressure. Over 8psi can push fuel past the needle and seat. A lot of pumps (mechanical or electric) will run a little high on pressure requiring a pressure regulator.

thanx, that's what what i thought. just want to be right

Mines at 7psi .

i set it for 6

I am runnin dual 750's and mine is set at 7 psi.
-
I'm running a single Holley DP 650 fed by a $39.95 Kragen electric fuel pump with an operating pressure of 4 - 7 psi, no fuel pressure gauge.
I just changed my avitar and felt like I needed to jack a thread.
Thanks.
