What are your thoughts about mounting fuel pump and filter on stringer? Thats the closest point to my fuel tank. My fuel tank is located in floor in front of engine. Old fuel pump was a Carter mounted on block. Have a Holley blue now, and was told it should be mounted below tank level. To make it easier on pump.

doesnt matter really where you mount it, just close to the tank as you can. electric pumps are pushers not pullers. my only suggestion is to mount through a piece of rubber. my stringer fuel pump in my 18 was LOUD.
