Post by: mayhem35 on June 03, 2013, 07:44:40 PM
I know I've read it somewhere on here already but can't find it so thought I would ask again.....what type of thread sealer should I use on my fittings for the fuel lines and where do I buy it? Thanks guys

You shouldn't use any sealer. Your either going to have npt, an, clamp on or a combination of that. If you feel the need to use thread sealer its white and at any auto part store but use only on the npt.

ideally if they are AN fittings you don't need any sealer, just snug them up. If you must use a sealer, make sure it is a fuel rated thread sealant. Most all of your auto parts stores will cary a thread sealer that will be fuel rated.

For NPT fittings I use nothing but Jomar. Google it. Nothing on the 37 degree flare side (AN) fittings.
