I have 2 side mounted tanks... I have a switch by my steering wheel to operate the tank solenoid selector valve to select from one tank to the other... I want to eliminate that and get a manual selector valve... Here's my question
If I eliminate the electrical solenoid selector valve will that make the gas gauge not work?
Who do I eliminate the solenoid selector valve and still have the gas gauge read for both tanks?
My gas gauge always reads full....what would cause it to do that?
Electrical has never been my strong point and I usually ( most of the time) have to have some help me... So any input is greatly appreciated

One side of the switch is the fuel sender, the other is the valve. It should be a double pole double throw switch. The gauge operation should not be effected I wouldn't think.
