Can you pull the fuel sending unit and look inside?

Your going to have to remove the tanks to get them out...

On one of the Daycruisers I owned, I had to cut out and remove the tanks to fix it. The draw straws couldn’t be removed due to the cap of the hull being right on top. On a different boat I got lucky. The blower vents were right above the 90/draw straw. Removed the hose and vent and had easy access. How about some pics to see what you’re working on.

This is lame, but going to ask anyway.

1/4 tank on the gauge? Or did you use a "dipstick"?

You could be chasing a gauge issue...

Hope you are doing well bud.

Quick test, pull the sender wire off the gauge and power up the dash, see if she goes empty.

I have the wooden dowel that came off an old ski flag to "dip"...

It would be really odd for both tanks to poop out at the same point. Have you checked the valve?
