Been playing around with the Biesemeyer's wiring issues ( not making progress, but looking at it and digesting what I see, what a hack that owned this boat before).

Anyway. what's the proper way to wire this switch in so that the alt charges both batteries no matter what and I can use the fugger to switch batteries if need be? I'm scratching my head on this when I first thought it should be simple. Maybe 2Sav's rubbing off on me and I'm over analyzing again.

To charge both batteries "no matter what" would require the use of a battery isolator, really simple dealio tha "splits" the charge circuit like a cable TV splitter, well, sort of...

The charge wire of the alt. goes to the center post of the isolator, battery one goes to one side of the isolator and battery two goes to the other side Viola, now no matter what position the switch is in, both batteries charge and only the selected battery gets drawn on, unless of course the battery switch is in the "Both" position...

Actually, Better idea,  You and Mrs GT need a vacation to Az, then YOU can rewire this pig! I'll provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, and beer and all the swimming you want! Plus you can drive the Moo boat you so hate, lol

RV shops normally have em, NAPA sells them too, should cost like $40-$50...you need like a 50 amp, they make em all the way to 250 amps
