Title: got my engine running :D

pulled the spark plugs out and cleaned them up, they were covered in fluid, it fired right up, then i got a timing light to it and its happy at 35* btdc total advance, idle's at 1k rpm and 20* btdc


cant wait to take it for a test ride on the lake!!! pictures soon

What motor is this? Take your timing light with you and check it/adjust it with it idling on the trailer in the water. Hopefuly changes things, but 20* sounds like an AWFUL lot initial timing to me no matter what engine.....(Well, if it's a Kawasaki that might be different, dunno about them..... >:D )  But it would seem hard to start. The 35* part I can buy.

its 35* at 2500-3k rpms right?
