Title: Hand Throttle
Post by: Riverguy553 on June 16, 2011, 10:01:29 PM: Looking for some help here, just bought a 78 Southwind and it has a foot throttle and i really dont want that i'd prefer to have a hand throttle, where can i buy one or get one???

I have a good friend who only has one leg, we put the MV-3 in his boat (jet) and he loves it...Look at the bottom at the options and they have a kit for the 4300 series cables..

It works the same as your forward/reverse lever, but both cables hook up to it. Ill post a pic of mine later today

(bulkhead) welcome to boating. port is left and starboard is the other way. haha. pretty soon you'll be talking about gunwale's and transoms.

Sorry for the wrong terminalogy.... I guess i should have said " I dont want to cut the carpet and wood piece that is in the front of the boat"
