Title: Header water injection question
Post by: Rogers Hopeful on July 18, 2018, 09:37:04 PM
I hooked up my water lines. My T-valve has a new ball and spring but for some reason my passenger side header is getting way more water then the drivers side. It looked like it was coming out of the weep holes. I had about a 1/4” of water next to the stringer and it had only been idling for a couple mins. The other side was almost dry.

Your t valve should not open at idle to let water to the pipes till like 1800-2000 rpm so if it's leaking water at idle there is an issue!!  Unless ur boat is idling crazy hi!!  ???

It’s idling at about 800-1000. I was running it in the hose which could be part of the issue. But I have a Y at the jet intake so water goes to the motor and the jet.

Have you checked all your header water lines for clogs?
