Now, improperly done water lines to the headers can cause issues. Sounds like you where talking to someone that has had problems getting things set up right. Or they have a set of logs they really want to get rid of.

Holy Shizznit Batman !!! We gotta get crackin'! We have tens of thousands of unsuspecting hot boat owners to warn. How come nobody ever told me this before ? ::)

You can trash your engine with headers that have water lines, If the lines are connected wrong or the adjustment to regulate the amount of water/pressure is wrong, And it happens. When you make the change just do all your homework and too little water is way better then to much... RR
